The article refers to the problem of functioning of the image of the female political leader in the Republic of Tatarstan. The subject of research is the political practice of popular and successful tatar female political leaders. The result of the interview with the female political leaders, experts in political PR and journalism draws out general regularities in the image of the regional female political leaders.
